The information in this section is taken from the first and only PONTIAC SELLING FACTS booklet issued for the actual 1990 model year; the date of the booklet is August 4, 1989. The information from this booklet would be superseded fairly quickly with the introduction of the 1991 models so soon in calendar year 1990.
As such and for complete disclosure, there were two (2) additional pricing booklets that were issued for the “1990 model year” in calendar year ’90 dated March 2 and April 2, 1990, but the Firebird information had already been updated to 1991 because the newly restyled Firebirds were introduced in February of 1990.
