ADMIN NOTE: While this article predates the GTA’s production by some three (3) years, everybody who grew up back in the day wanting a Third-Generation Firebird or Trans Am remembers THIS car without fail.
Developed with Pontiac’s encouragement, this 1982 Trans Am was an early look at just what the Third-Gen F-cars were capable of… with unlimited access to parts and unlimited funds to invest. Any F-car that could run 200 mph in 1984 certainly deserves inclusion in this “Specialty Files” section.
Plus it just looks badass, right?
