1992 PONTIAC FIREBIRD EUROPEAN BROCHURE

This brochure is somewhat unique in that it services two different sales areas in Europe. The LH side of the page is written in Dutch, while the RH side is in French? The GTA is not mentioned here at all, as only the base Firebird coupe and the Trans Am are detailed in this brochure.

A/N: The GM art department obviously revamped the beautiful GTA image from the cover of the 1991 US Firebird brochure by adding the base Firebird wheels and front nose decal to the image shown in this folder, but left the GTA fender emblem in full view. Just a little oversight, I suppose.

The Dutch translation: With the sporty Firebird coupe, you attract attention everywhere. Clean body lines, an aggressive grille, pop-up headlamps. as well as a rear spoiler and aluminum wheels define the unique image of this sports car. With the T-top model, both roof panels can be removed and stored in the trunk, allowing you to enjoy open-air driving at its purest. Road holding, cornering behavior, and four-speed automatic transmission is pushed to its limits. The sporty appearance is further emphasized by aluminum wheels, dual exhaust outlets, a rear spoiler, and also the Aero package.

The French breakdown: The difference never goes unnoticed! A sleek silhouette, color-matched radiator grille, pop-up headlights, rear spoilers and sparkling aluminum wheels… how could you ignore it? And the Firebird becomes even more striking when you remove the T-top. Designed in two sections, it can easily be stored in the trunk. In the Firebird, the differences are everywhere: aluminum wheels, exhaust tips, and rear spoilers in aluminum, just to name a few. And you even get the satisfaction of driving without polluting: the Firebird runs on regular unleaded gasoline.

Again, the Dutch translation: the standard-equipped limited-slip differential ensures that power is transferred evenly to the driven wheels. The sports suspension is fully matched to the enormous power of the powerful engine. Operation is focused on both functionality and comfort. This applies to the easy-to-read analog instruments, the electric window controls, the height-adjustable steering wheel, and the electric door locking.

The French translation: the limited-slip differential grips the road and distributes the power evenly to each wheel. Supported by a rally-style chassis, this power is controlled by a braking system with disc brakes. Your well-being is absolute: very easy-to-read analog instruments, electric window controls, central door locking, super comfortable seats, and a stereo sound system with an electric antenna.
