ADMIN Note: The writer here continually refers to the ’91 Trans Am Convertible in this article as a “GTA Convertible”, even though the car is clearly marked with “Trans Am” decals. As we have stated here on countless occasions, the GTA was not offered as a convertible in either 1991 or 1992. These types of errors has no doubt contributed over the years to the fact that people think there were actually GTAs built as drop-tops during its last two years.
