Lloyd mat. Correct color for Beechwood?

I'm looking to get Lloyd mats for my T/A and two color came up.
My interior is beechwood.
I looked at my mat, but both my front are not original and my rear mat are oe, but dirty and worn.
What you think should be the correct color?

I'd say the saddle ones are right for the beechwood interior. The antelope is for the 87 back cars with the lighter interior.

I might try to save them.

Re: Lloyd mat. Correct color for Beechwood?

The saddle (top photo) you posted is closer to the Beechwood.

I had the headliner out of my 89, with 26K miles, and it was a darker brown than I thought.

Re: Lloyd mat. Correct color for Beechwood?

Finally decided to buy ACC.
Color Cognac: 9409-89

The color is good, the fitment is great.
My OM mat are lighter in color, also 25 years old too....
I will steam clean my carpet this winter.
So for now, this is it, I might get full carpet later if my cleaning is not up to my standards.

Re: Lloyd mat. Correct color for Beechwood?

bringing a thread back from dead...

got carpet samples from ACC..

medium doeskin... on my carpet

the one on the left is medium doeskin on top of the original mats that are on top of the original carpet

the thing is.. in one pic it matches carpet in the other it doesnt.. these were shot in the hatch area which gets very little light.. but looking it it carpet to sample it doesnt match. my mats are disintegrating on the backing (and make the carpet black) and now I am thinking about using plastidip on their backs to keep them from getting worse.. thoughts?

Re: Lloyd mat. Correct color for Beechwood?

1badGTA,
Your front/hatch area carpet has faded over the years. The sample may or may not be accurate to the original Beechwood color hue. Those 2 factors can play hell trying to match items. Been there....

At this point, the simple fix is to do something to your original mats, if possible. Carpet and mats will match. All's good in the world!

The can of warms will be opened if you start replacing carpet, etc to get matching items. Then you'll notice the carpet doesn't match carpeted panels, etc. See where this is going? Down the ugly road in search of perfection

True. I am thinking plastidip on the back of the original mats. I am also think with such low miles and the back hatch has the cargo screen on it the back hatch carpet is not faded at all.
