Re: Not properly working electric cooling fan

im not quite following your line of questioning, but as I understand from what you wrote, you are saying that the fans come on at the proper temperature but the coolant isnt cooling properly?

if thats the case first step I would take is to squeeze the upper radiator hose when it reaches over 210 degrees. if its soft/cool I'd go with a faulty thermostat. you can also pull the stat and toss it in a pot of boiling water to see if it opens and shuts properly.

if this isnt the case, and i misunderstood your question can you please clarify?

The case is that I started the engine and after some when the water get warm one of too fans was working. Temerature go down and fan stoped working. Temerature of water go up and up and no fan started working. Can you tell me
were the thermostat is or what else I can do.

Re: Not properly working electric cooling fan

Maybe has something to do with the temperature sensor that is on the engine or the electrical wires and connections. Good luck.

Re: Not properly working electric cooling fan

So the fan turned on to cool the motor and then never turned on again? Does this happen everytime or does the fan just not turn on at all now? If it is not turning on I would check the fan to make sure it works by adding a power and a ground to it. Then if the fan works it will be the cooling fan switch, IIRC it should be under the TPI in front of the lower manifold.
