Angry Spark Plugs

Is there an easy way to get at the plugs on my 88 gta? I have spent a few hours just getting pissed trying to remove these..What am I missing? Thanks

plugs

go under the car and get them from the bottom i can do mine in an hour or so.

plugs

I did get to mine from the top of the engine...it was a pain, but it can be done...it took me probably 2 hours or so...I didn't try getting at them from underneath because it was going ok for me..slowly..it just took some time and patients. good luck!

Thanks for the advice, I tried it last night from under the car and it went very well. Passenger side was ugly but drivers side was a breeze. With a little practice I should be able to do it under an hour

I know that its a little late but, try this trick next time.
Get a piece of rubber hose that will fit on the end of the spark plug intead of the socket and you can thread the plug into the block easier. Of course you will still have to squeeze a wrench in there to tighten it in but this really does help a little where there isn't much space.
