damn. was tempted to get my dad to buy an
GNX and just sit on it. everyone knew it would be a major collectable. Dad worked for GM and was making a 6 figure income back then

That would have been great. 20/20 hindsight. Sad but those days are gone now. Cars these days aren't nothing but cheap, disposable and mega-mass produced.

I always kick myself when talking to my dad that we didn't go halves and at least TRIED to buy a new Dodge Demon, sit on it and let the value climb. Heck prices on them jumped right away.

yeah. The TTAs stayed high for a few years then declined a bit then came back up. same with the GNX. give it a few years and something hotter will arrive and the price will dip. you may even have more $$ to spend or you may get married and not have the freedom for a toy just to take up space in a garage.never know. but it will correct somewhat. Superbirds were a hard sell in the late 70s but you could save some $$.

Re: New Old Stock - Literally

The TTA seems to be going up in value. I've noticed the trend the last year or so.

If I just could've hit the 1.6 billion lottery earlier this week...
