It was black on black, digital dash, 350 auto trans. It had an extra foglight switch where the subwoofer switch would have been that was at one time a kill switch on the fuel injector power. That would have made it unique in 1998.

I guess I should say that the car was a 1987 too. Thanks!

Seller remorse? So what's the story with this one? Good luck on finding it.

Thanks! Different time in my life when I sold it in 1998. It's pretty much a curiosity now since I recently found the VIN in some old papers. If it were available, I'd consider buying it back. If it were junk, it would be cool to put some parts from in in the one I have now.

Well ya never know. It may be in collector car shape right now or it could be in a thousand pieces parted out and on various other cars all across the US of A.

One thing for sure, I'd say if you are one of the fortunate ones to have one now, hold onto it big time. I was at a sandwich shop for lunch a few days ago when a father and son asked me about the GTA emblem I have sitting on my dash. Son (Mike) was around my age and the father (Larry) was around in his mid 60s. The father was a retired GM guy and the son works currently at a dealership in town. We talked a bit about GM and Pontiac in general. Larry started getting a little emotional about Pontiac being gone and all. Mike added that you can't get parts at all for these 3rd gens through the dealerships anymore.

Great guys and I sort of got a bit depressed and all. I went from happy that they saw the emblem and said it looks like a real one, but then depressed when reality set in that this chapter in American car history may really be over and that I jumped on that train a little too late to really enjoy the ride.

So if you're one of the lucky ones to have one of these Pontiacs, hang onto them because the reality is it's going to not get any easier to get them and the parts.
