Looking for 88-89 GTA... possibly 89' Formula
Looking for close to original or original (air filter or exhaust okay) GTA or formula. 5 speed preferred. Black, gunmetal or maybe white. Under 120,000 miles or so. Located in Alabama. Willing to travel for the right car. I prefer N10 dual exhaust. May be interested in 1989 5.7 automatic. Must be a good running car. I'm not looking for a showroom car, just a nice car. Thanks. Message me and I'll get back with ya! Looking to purchase this year.

Re: Looking for 88-89 GTA... possibly 89' Formula
I hope you have better luck them I'm having. Maybe depends on where you live. I've not found any in my area at all for sale. And the ones on the street are mostly big project deals, but aren't for sale anyways. I see a nice 3rd gen every great once in a while but those aren't for sale either.
Since I've not seen any for sale at all where I am, I'm not too picky on what I want. Primarily I want one that's in my area, running ok & in decent shape but no more then $3K - $4K. I'm on a tight budget since my ex got the gold mine and I got the shaft. |

Re: Looking for 88-89 GTA... possibly 89' Formula
They're getting harder to find but every once and a while a nice GTA comes up for sale (TTA are everywhere).
The last two nice GTAs I saw I bought! Wife was impressed! Expand your search-look everywhere! On-line, muscle car sites, CL, used car lots/sites, car shows, follow all leads (I know a guy who knows a guy who knew a guy- etc) and best of luck. You never know when the perfect GTA will appear. Can't wait to see your GTA. They're worth the wait.

Re: Looking for 88-89 GTA... possibly 89' Formula
I just found this forum and there is a lot of great info.. I will admit after spending time here the last few days it has renewed my interest in my GTA...I spent the last 2 years getting it back to what it looked like the day My brother bought it. It just kills me to see it spend a lot of time in my garage...

Your car sounds like it is at the upper end of my price range. Is it auto or manual? Thanks. Also sorry I haven't responded sooner. I basically gave up anyone would respond.
