Re: ASC Convertible conversions

Wow Talk about old memories... I sold my 1990 GTA vert to my best friend so I can still see it now and then.

The build date was real late 1989, I can post the VIN# on here if that is any help.

I knew it is a rare car but im still wondering how rare.

Re: ASC Convertible conversions

I saw one of these ASC verts at a car show recently. It was an 88, but the guy driving it was a d*ck and turned out to be a dealer trying to find someone that he could charge a lot more than the car was worth. I'll post pictures later.

Re: ASC Convertible conversions

I thought you might be interested in this, I own a 1987 GTA convertible. Here's the strange part...It's the exact same car as the one pictured in the ASC one page brochure. It's flame red metallic, tan top, tan cloth interior and mine has the same center caps with gold firebirds in the middle just like the brochure. Now what are the chances of that same color and interior option as the brochure. The way I understand it there weren't that many GTA convt produced and that color too.

Cool Re: ASC Convertible conversions

Wouldn't it be wild, if ASC could confirm, by VIN #, which one was used for the pic on the brochure, and it turned it was YOUR car?

How's that for a show stopper? Display thge car at a show, along with a brochure, and the framed ASC confirmation, that that is the same car in the pic, from 20 years agg o!
