Some useful info here

I stumbled across this link and I thought that some of you around here might find it useful. The info mostly pertains to 85/86 T/A's but many items carry over to our car as well. I especially like the section about polishing and buffing certain car parts. Anyway, take a look and see what you think.

Re: Some useful info here

That website is very informative, but did you see what he was talking about, polishing his wheels. He polished them while they were on the car. Kind of redneckish, but the more power to him.

That's funny man! I stripped and polished all four of my rims while they were on the car and it was a PITA. I just don't have the tools to jack the car up and remove each rim for what for me anyway, was about an hour job per rim.

The reason I posted this is because I have been asked how I polished my rims before and his methods were not that far off from what I have read in other responses. I am still ROTF with the Redneck comment ... I am so not Redneck! ... but maybe I just had a Redneck moment???

LOL ... Well I am from Snellville, Georgia .... I do still reside in Georgia although I lived almost half of my life in Arizona. I did watch the Dukes of Hazard (a least a few times), I also have listened to Country Music (although I have only hard rock and metal on my Ipod) .... Oh .. but I hate boiled peanuts, I don't have an accent and I don't watch Nascar ...

Man I am so confused now!!!

Re: Some useful info here

He covered the IAT (MAT) sensor relocation, although he talks about bying a kit, which you can EASILY do yourself.

We just extended our stock wires. Camaros are lucky, in that they can put on the V6 air intake piece that fits over the radiator, and has a screw-in place for the sensor. V6s come that way stock.

Yes ... Kuulk ... I heard about what happend to the Governor's Mansion there in Tennessee.

In case no one else heard about it ... a really bad storm blew through and knocked his house right off of it's wheels. I sure do hope that everyone was okay.
