So who's going to PSN?

It looks like I'll be there on Saturday, don't know if I'm going to spend the night though. Did anyone ever decide on a place to meet and eat? I'm not familiar with Richardson, but if anyone would like to take a trip to Dallas Alley, I might be persuaded to attend. Anyhoo, I'm planning on bringing the Flame Red GTA - Ram Air Hood, Texas A&M license plate reading "2B NVD" I'll probably be standing near Joe's car like everyone else. You CAN'T miss me, I'm 5'3" and have maroon and white striped hair. (It's not really as bad as you're imagining, I'm not a punk or anything, but you'll know me when you see me.) So let's all get together and BS about the GTAs over a few Shiners.

See ya there.

Mandy

Why is it all the good car shows happen down south???

All we got up here are the import and ricer car shows.

...because the "brooklyn bikini team" doesn't sound that enticing.

We have ways of dealing with those down here....

Joe, did you get my PM?
I don't think that my car would be a good candidate for the show, the interior is not so great...And how do you re-detail it when you get there? Is there a car wash nearby? BTW, the forecast says rain...

Mandy, the PSN show always has a wash area there behind the Renaissance Hotel for everyone to use to clean their cars up after the trip to the show. Last year they had everything: soap, buckets, rags, etc.

It's a nice service.....

Do they have non "show quality" cars that enter? I guess I could put in the new headliner and sail panels today, but my seats are torn and the T-top liners are bad. Should I install the UL1 CD player I have or just bring it and sit it next to my Sony? Oh yeah, no way I can put on my good rims before the show, current rims have some weird squigglys in the clear coat. If I had another month it could be ready....but of course, I've never seen Joe's. I guess the black '87 will show me how much work I really have left.

Cool Remember.....

The most important thing at a show is that you have fun with your car. Show quality or driver, or even fixer upper, its all good. Those of us out there who have built a car or two can see the potential in each car even if its a basket case. So remember its just a game and their is always a nicer ride out there somewhere. besides it just depends on what strikes the fancy of each particular judge. Ya never can tell but you can learn what to work on for next time. Come one come all & lets have a great time with our cars.

Skull & Crossbones opps......

Sorry Mandy, I havent gotten your PM Yet, but like Frankie said this is a fabulous show and very well though out. They have most of the basics youll need to touch up after a long drive. If it rains thats OK too. The show is in the parking Garage at the Hotel. So we are protected from the weather. Besides the way I see it If I get rained on during the trip in, most likely so will everyone else, so we will all be fighting the same battle to get em cleaned back up. Dont worry too much about your ride, we all have things that bother each of us on our cars, but more than likely they will bother you more than anyone else there. Hoope to see ya there.
