Thanks! Someone actually offered me $7500 last night, but I would like to get more. Do you think my car is priced about right?

Heck yeah!

I've said before these cars ARE the '69 GTO's, '68 Mustang Fastback GT's, '67 SS Camaro's of the future.

In another 20 years, when Federally approved 'smart cars' are everywhere like cockroaches, American muscle cars will be found only in museums or rich folks garages - these GTA's (along with IROC-Z's, Buick Turbo Grand National GNX's, Hurst/Olds, '88 Fiero GT's and Formula's, Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupes and Mustang GT convertible's of the same era) are going to be pricey collector's items, especially in the shape yours is in now.
In fact, they are already climbing in value like mad.

I remember back in 1999-2000 searching on AutoTrader for 1991 Pontiac Trans Am's and routinely getting between 45-50 returns for cars in good shape around the $3500 mark.
Now, a 1991 GTA in excellent condition, when you can find one, can hit $9K. It really isn't that uncommon.
And if you find a true low mileage survivor around 10K miles or less, it can hit close to $20K.
So, if yours is as clean and sharp as the pictures suggest (even the blurry ones, heh heh) then $9000 isn't unreasonable.

Unless someone is hell bent on waiting around for a BETTER 21 year old 1988 black on black, digital dashed 5.7L Trans Am GTA with no flaws and only 77K miles on it. Sure.
No problem finding that, right? EbayMotors and AutoTrader are rotten with them, they're dripping off the pages.

Yeah, right.

Either hold on to it like gold and treat it like a baby, or sell it for what you want.
DON'T give a ride like that away - they're just getting too scare.

Anyway, that's my $0.02.

You can always do what I did and have a t-top roof hacked off of a wrecked car and then have it installed on a non t-top car.

If this is the car on ebay, it has a carfax record. As with all used cars, shiny or not, do not ignore the carfax reports and thoroughly investigate the car prior to buying. Ask me how I know

Sharp looking car, and good luck with the sale.

And sometimes, even then it will do you no good. Emma was seriously wrecked. I got Carfax AND AutoChek, and NEITHER had her accident on them.

That was exactly what a C&C conversion was - except they did a lot more reinforcement over the factory to maintain rigidity. On the other hand, for all the hardtop owners, how do you like those stress cracks at the B pillar?

Seriously, it is almost like the car was designed around the V6. If you have the torque of the V8 (and I can definitely feel the twist), then SFC are the only way to go.

My own $0.02.

Actually, I have been told that those stress cracks are only in the small amount of bondo they have to use in those areas. I had a good body man tell me that. He told me that its the bondo cracking not the metal.

Yes Cliff is right those cracks are usually the factory filler cracking being bondo or lead but I also have seen some seriours body crack also. LOL
