Thanks for the compliments Tommy. The overhead console was the first major mod I did to the car in terms of changing it from stock. The holes for the mounting bolts were already there on the ceiling and it ws not a very difficult install. In fact, the hardest part was the headliner, and getting it in and out in one piece.

Thanks Dave, but that's not my neighborhood. It's the neighborhood of my childhood friend. I wouldn't take pic of my car in my neighborhood. I live in the ghetto... lol

Skull & Crossbones

Hello there Fred,

Yes, your ride is looking very good. I appreciating owners who taking care of GTA as good as you do, as well as hand full of others on this site too! I see a bit of the Philippines in one of shots. I still laughing when you mentioning that you thinking about bringing your GTA to the Philippines. That would have been a bad move cause that is no place for nice GTA like yours to be. Roads are very rough, not good parking and not good places to find quality parts if you need.

I had opportunity to purchase same year car as yours and it also gun metal color too. This was about two and half years ago. But it was already having more than a few owners. Only thing you can see that tell you it was a GTA was the code on build sheet. Emblems missing, after market rims, and stuff like that. I wanted it at first but then I realizing too much work and money involve to make it mint. And I already have one so I can not be so greedy. And at that time,I was only looking for daily driver style car anyway. So I just purchased used Corolla. I will not be worry about that corolla...(sigh). Not like my GTA. Sometime it so nice to drive car around in city with piece of mind, not to worry when you get back to it, that someone have vandalizing it or attempt to break into it, etc, etc, etc.

Looking good fellow GTA car owner! Looking good...Yumiko

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I try to take care of her as best as I can. New cars come and go, but you only have one first car. I hope mine will be running just as well when I hit the 200,000 mile mark. I may complain and whine about it sometimes, but that's when I work on the car... LOL. These cars can be a real B**** to work on. But I would never trade her for any other car in the world.
