Has anyone tried one of these ? I'm needing mine replaced and hear alot of good things with Hawks, but I want the fit to be just as good as oem...

Re: Rear Spoiler

Not familiar with these but they are probably molded the same way as others are.

I'm leery of the one that state "no mounting hardware is included". I don't know of anybody who has been able to reuse the side clips, as they usually self-destruct when the original wing is removed.

Re: Rear Spoiler

I would avoid Young's at all cost. They've been reported to the Charlotte BBB on multiple occasions. Your best bet is through Hawk's.

The metal clips on the window frame hold up very well.

As for the plastic "T's" that lock in the spoiler tips, yes it can be 50/50as to how easily they remove without self-destructing. On the other hand, the aftermarket spoilers have no provision to use those "T's". So, best bet is to use #8 screws in their place.

Re: Rear Spoiler

Yea Hawks is the best, I dont know whats up with youngs, I live in the same town there in. They have a huge warehouse if you go there they are very nice and will sell u whatever u want, but seems like everyone who tries to deal with them online always gets ripped off

Re: Rear Spoiler

Yes, I was referring to the actual clips themselves. My spoiler came with mounting brackets and hardware for the front edges instead. No trouble whatsoever. The only thing I would do differently now is I would have had the brackets powder-coated. But they aren't visible so I guess it is not a big deal.

That's what I did also. I set it up in primer, then had the screws painted in place. The fit is snug and as good as stock.
