Replacing leather seats

What is the best way to re-do the front leather seats of a 88 GTA? Is there a company out there that sell the a kit? Would like to know any suggestion and/or experiences anyone has had. Thanks.

Re: Replacing leather seats

Ice, I have just been contacted by Atlanta Buick Specialties, who are offering leather upholstery kits for GTAs and TTAs now. They have asked me to help spread the word that these kits are now available. From what I hear, their reputation is excellent.

There is a link on the Source Page at the very top of the page...... Check them out, and let me know what they tell you, OK?

Good luck!

re

I got an e-mail from Atlanta Buick, and they don't have any prices or a prototype made yet.

Leather Interior

When someone finds out what the costs are and some indication of quality for leather interior for front and rear seats and side door panels (if they are done) I would be very interested in that information. I looked at the site Frankie referenced but could not find any information.

Re: Replacing leather seats

ICE, I AM GETTING MY 88 GTA (LEATHER) SEATS REDONE AS WE SPEAK AND HERE IS THE PRICES I GOT FROM A WELL RESPECTED CO. IT WAS $1,000 EACH FRONT SEAT AND $2,800 TO DO ALL FOUR BUT THEY JUST GOT THIS NEW MATERIAL IN CALLED "ALANTE" AND THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN TELL THIS STUFF IS NOT LEATHER AND HOLDS UP AWSOME! I LOOKED IT OVER AND IT IS GREAT. IT IS NOT CHEAP BUT WHEN COMPARED TO TOP GRAIN LEATHER ITS NOT BAD, YOUR LOOKING AT ABOUT $1500 TO $1700 TO DO ALL FOUR SEATS!THE SHOP IS CALLED "CYCLONE" AND IT IS LOCATED IN YOUNGSTOWN,OHIO.
