New member checking in ...

Just wanted to compliment everyone involved with this site! It's great - the knowledge base seems endless.

I've recently purchased my first GTA, she's an 88 gun metal gray 5.0 5 spd and she's incredible - totally stock with 62K original miles. My 84 TA will be handed down to my son (provided he shows me he's ready)!! I Look forward to becoming a part of the forum.

Mark, welcome! Glad to have you aboard. I'm always excited to see new people posting here.

I hope your new GTA purchase brings you as much pleasure as the rest of us get from our own cars.

Thanks Frankie! There's no way to describe the feeling I get every time I fire her up (although the TA is pretty sweet) - I've wanted a GTA ever since they came out and after about a year of searching I finally found one that I could afford that wasn't trashed. She's got her small "issues" but those will just take time. Thanks again for the welcome.

Skull & Crossbones Congrats on the new GTA.....

Congrats there on your new purchase. I am kinda curious where you found that car. I looked at one about 30 days ago or so in the panhandle of Texas, sounds like it could be the same car. If it is its a pretty nice car.

Skull & Crossbones Its the same car.....

Hey Grayeagle, its definately the same car then. It was a really nice car. Glad to see her go to a good home. I was wondering if her ever sold it. Hope we can see you and your new ride at the Pontiac Southern Nationals in June.

Hey, welcome to the board! Another Gunmetal Grey GTA to add to the fray. I have a '91 GTA hardtop L98/Auto, and she's also a gunmetal grey car. I'm sure you're very happy with your new baby.

Thanks for the welcome Fred!! I'm extremely happy with the new baby ... I can waste an entire afternoon just looking at her (until my wife gets in the way)!!
