Prospective Owner, Choosing the Optimal GTA

Thank you to the nice gentleman from Glouchester County for bringing this nicely preserved and very low mileage GTA, in its most elegant format White with T-Tops and Beechwood Leather, to my rapt attention. I did see his post several days ago and have set my mind to its consideration.
P1 My rational Husband who has power over me insists I face certain realities of value and expenditure.
P2 However as an Actress I am Devious and can Think Divergently.
P3 With like tension the Evil Professor, who has me under his Spell, impresses upon me the imperative that I must work in his service with more time and dedication, if I am ever able to acquire such a near perfect version of my desire..................

Prospective Owner, Choosing the Optimal GTA

P3 Therefore I remain hopeful that Serendipity will again make a like brilliant encounter with me;
P4 As I remain happy to imagine the 5.7L/700R4 free hand reaching to steady delicate nerves as it rumbles and bounds over hill and dale and presses effectual G-forces into my frame. Miss T/A Inspiration!

I wonder if I can get my wife to talk like this?

Re: Prospective Owner, Choosing the Optimal GTA

Yes, this seems very strange. It takes me a little bit of time to understand it what they are trying to say. Some of those words are not used in an average conversation, so since English is not my first language, I have to spend some of the time to process the translation.

It's some one messing around. It's not the 1700's anymore and nobody still talks like that.

Prospective Owner, Choosing the Optimal GTA

Well Boys lets back up here, too many of your are missing my attempt to extend the Hilarity of my dialog with 89JerseryGTA, he even seems to be lost. The first post in this thread written by me a 47-year-old male, originally from New Jersey and now living in Virginia, contained an Avatar of a very beautiful blond in fine display with her top down, a real queen shot that I had saved some time ago. I thought this girl was the perfect partner/mascot for a very fine looking car, perhaps one of GM's best, ever. Mr. JerseyGTA, the nice gentleman from Gloucester County NJ, and in NJ we know our counties because there are only 21 total. Well Jersey GTA with a flourish of hope and comedy asked me if I was the person in the avatar. I pretended I was and posted a full size attachment of the avatar in my reply. That funny reply was deleted by the editorial police at this site; and too bad for it really broke up of the narrative of the thread. So, several days later when JerseyGTA posted a fine available example of the GTA version I had specifically declared in the deleted post to be one of my objects of desire, a White-Beechwood Leather '89 T-Top, I set myself to thinking how I could comically respond and at the same time let him know that I could not afford a $15,000 car.
I wanted to adopt a new and acceptable femine mascot. I recently saw the two latest Sherlock Holmes Films and really fell quite in love with the actress playing Irene Adler, a black widow type and Holmes' love/hate object.
The first shot in my story board, now remember guys this is Nineteeth Century stuff, is Holmes and Adler (Miss Adler is from New Jersey by the way). The super rational Holmes is the rational financial conscience insisting that the impulsive female get real as to what she can Afford. Picture 3, Miss Adler and Professor James Moriarty, representing the task master who must be served more deligently if expensive collectible toys are to be acquired. P4 shows the hopeful GTA aspirant content to wait for a later buying opportunity. And Finally P5 the Lovely Rachel McAdams, the Canadian born Actress playing Miss Adler, showing us her winning smile and declaring herself inspirational mascot of the GTA Sourcepage and sweetly wishing to have her hand steadied by the free hand of her escort, who wisely chose the Automatic equipped 5.7L GTA. So gentlemen in the future you can expect me to be like a Black GTA appearing like a phantom and darting around curves of expression.
Now some of my serious questions like the larger rear brakes on the '89, do they substanially improve stopping distance? In 1990 MotorWeek tested the GTA and stopped it from 60 in 117ft, that is excellent for a non ABS car. Are there no dissenters about the solidity of the T-Top Body, I've read elswhere guys absolutely declaring the T-Top F-Bodies to be very bad for chassis integrity and handling. And subrame connectors, they vary greatly in design anyone got a comment as to those that are really good. And a supercharger with the L98 a good match or not? Comment!

Re: Prospective Owner, Choosing the Optimal GTA

Editorial police picked up on that you posted a vulgar/sexually oriented post. They aren't allowed. It's right in the user agreement that you accepted and understood when you registered. If you chose not to read it...Not much to say there. Still have to abide by the rules.

Subframes: Spohn weld ins

T-Roof: Subframes "helps" with the structural problems.

Supercharger on an L98: Money better spent going to an LSx engine for ease of tuneability and additional power availability.

Bigger brakes: Only difference was in rear brake sizing and caliper style or if you get into the 1LE style. Again, better off to go with aftermarket or Corvette C5 or LSx style brake conversions if you want additional stopping power. Couple easy bolt on upgrades would be to ensure the brake booster is working properly, upgrade to stainless braided lines and get a more aggressive biting pad like Hawk's Green or Red. Also changing discs from a solid to a slotted/crossdrilled will help with fade.

Prospective Owner, Choosing the Optimal GTA

Western Morris County, little town called Chester. Yea that was fun, I think Miss Adler will be back though, particularly when the time comes to acquire the desired object. Peace... StellarTracks

Re: Prospective Owner, Choosing the Optimal GTA

Ahh, in the mountains of NJ. Not many people realize how nice certain areas of NJ are. They are think its like NY City all over. That area near the Del water gap and east has nice mountains.

I used to frequently run from home town of Audubon to the Poconos. Up Rt 31 to Rt 46. Had to stop at Hot Dog Johnnys-(Belvidere) on 46 and have 2 with the works.(Great hot dog cooked in Peanut oil, mustard, pickle and onions .... and guaranteed heartburn to follow) Then further up the road was King Cole Resturant ... now closed forever.

Good times.
