1999 Trans am change oil light.

I'm looking at purchasing another TA. Anyways 99 TA steal of a deal IMO. 7k. 106 thousand on the clock. Rebuilt 6 speed has 2k on it as we'll as stage 3 clutch.
It has headers exhaust short throw vette rims. well here.

But he said the change oil light stays on for a sec. He sent me a walk around. Said just changed with royal purple. Doesn't know why it does it. Done it sence He's had it.
What may it be, bad sensor or what? If not i I might buy it. Cheap. But want to know if its something serious I should stay away. I cod post the video to of anyone wants to see.

It does go off after 30 seconds or so

Avoid that sucker like the plague especially for that price.

Transmission was rebuilt...WHY? Did he also screw the engine at the same time?

Low oil pressure that takes 20-30 seconds to rise above an acceptable level? There's probably more issues with that motor than you want to deal with...

it could be something simple like an oil pressure sensor, but most likely it's something in the engine.
