Here are a few more. These parts have been clear-coated but are not yet wet-sanded and buffed.

Come on now Brother! As the man responsible for it's heartbeat, we both know you would know it anywhere! It is a long way from where you first saw it though and I thank you for all the hard work and expertise you put into her.
It's kinda funny how everyone who has worked on the car since you looks under it and says the same thing.."Damn, that's some real nice work! Who did that?!"
You know me, I just say "but me, of course". lol
Seriously Tracey, you better find your way to the track the first time she goes! It would be nice to get a picture of you with her when she looks as good as you made her run

The paint is going on now and should be complete soon.
There's some definite flake in that spoiler.

Re: New member with 89 GTA project OVRMYHD

To get an idea on quarter mile speed times and miles per hour compared to the newest cars with the newest technologies such as the horse power and torque.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaS7n6qKQe4

So you are saying that your Pontiac GTA is beating the newest Porsche 911, Chevy Camero, Ford Shelby GT500 and only one second behind the Lamborghini Aventador and the McLaren MP4-12C, less than a second behind the Nissan GT-R Skyline? How are you able to do that with a GTA regardless of the modifications that you have done to it?

Well, it's more you that said it. I have a hard time disagreeing though. The day it went 11.82 a newer Corvette Z06 went an 11.99. The fault is in your questions. You seem to have the assumption that the original configuration of a GTA or any car for that matter is somehow going to limit whether or not it can be faster than this car or that. There is no glass ceiling because it's a GTA. That's what mod's are for.
Give her a few months and see if she isn't turning 11.30's or better. That will be after a few more mod's though like a 3.90 gear, better tires, a tune that raises the shift points and lightening the front end a little bit.
I wonder if you realize that the 425 rwhp is indicative of around 535 horsepower at the crank, and that the car is only 3,240 lbs.?

It has alot to do with traction, driving skills, and weight. The new camaro and the GT500 don't have good traction in stock form, just lots of power. Prokillsx has a modified suspension, transmission, and drag radials all designed to help him at the track. Cars like the GT-R are made for road courses. The Lambo and McLaren are designed to be high speed race cars, tuned for doing 150+ mph with ease.

11.16 at 123 mph.

Yeah Dad got a kick out of that race! We are lucky enough to have a good suspension under the car so even when the tires are blowing off she still goes straight. She also has almost a perfect / weight distribution between front and rear now The 4th gen seat belts bolt in ok but there is an issue with the angle at which they do when it comes to the plastic covers. I will likely go back to 3rd gen belts eventually.
