after its stored for years

I am just wondering...
My car has 20K miles on it and has sat most of its life. It has been fired up each month and had oil changed every 5-6 months. Lifters have no gunk, just clean oil. Car does not leak. My question.. I worry that seals are old.. can I just tighten them a bit to make up for any decay? I am not the one who stored it but dont want to open her up and blow a gasket... u know?

thoughts?

Re: after its stored for years

Honestly I woundnt mess with it, as long as the car was started here and there u should be good. From my past headachs tighting down on an oil leak really never stops or will fix anything

Re: after its stored for years

I agree. If it's been started monthly, all your seals should be fine.
