New Leather Hides
Sooooo... my '91 Trans Am GTA is currently in the process of getting a complete makeover. It's currently in the body shop getting a new black paint job, and I'll start on the interior as soon as I get the car back... hopefully in the next 3 weeks. The current interior color is black. I love black interiors, but I also have a very deep passion for black cars with tan interior. Needless to say, I'm changing the interior in my car to '88 - '91 Beechwood tan.
I purchased all of the plastic panels and seats needed for this transformation over a year ago. I've already purchased brand new carpets, and I just received my new leather skins from Katzkin. I'll start shopping around next week for a quality upholstery shop to do the leather swap for me. Anyhoooo... here's a crappy photo I took of them a little while ago. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...0/IMAG2132.jpg |

Carlos,
Looking good! Did you get the GTA back from the shop yet? I'll be glad to keep the WS6 for you while you wait....Ha! |
Re: New Leather Hides
How close to the originals are the Katskins? I need to replace my black seat covers this summer and I am trying to keep it as close to original as possible.

Those covers look really nice. I went to the Katzkin website and they only list 2000 and newer. What is the product # for those seat covers?

Re: New Leather Hides
I picked up my seats from the upholstery shop today and I think they look pretty good. As you can see, I'm converting the solid back rear seats in my '91 GTA to the Notchback/Turbo TA style rear seats. I'm also doing a complete color change... the original interior is black and I'm switching over to Beechwood tan.

Re: New Leather Hides
Nice. As asked before how did you locate the kit as I can't find it on their web site. I want to get the seats redone in my '88 and these look really nice.

Re: New Leather Hides
