1988 Trans Am GTA

Hey guys, I have bought a new daily driver and decided to part with my GTA. I really love the car, but it is not the right time in my life to be throwing all my money into it. I cant bear to drive it everyday and put it through parking lot stress. Anyways, you guys know how well kept my car always is so let me give the details.

1988 Pontiac firebird Trans Am GTA
5.7L 350 tuned port
700R4
factory notchback car
3:27 limited slip rear end
160 T stat
hypertech thermomaster chip
tb coolant bypass
92K miles
Digital dash
Camel tan leather
Wonder bar off an Iroc Z Camaro
steering wheel controls (work with stock radio)
sony xplod GT330 head unit with all new pioneer speakers
Brand new Firestone firehawk indy 500 tires
newly rebuilt headlamp motors
new tune up and oil change (mobile one 5W30 fully synthetic)
Brand new window tint
Brand new starter
new fuel pump
new water pump
all new vacuum lines
new radiator hoses
Transmission tuned up last year
rear end fluid just changed
Hawks fiberglass reproduction spoiler
All factory GM labels are there RPO sheet, etc

Now this car does need a few things. the only mechanical thing it needs is a new muffler. The car does have a few little door dings on it, but the only one that is really visible is right above the handle on the passenger door. I was told this could be paintlessly removed by a few people. And the front fascia does have normal rock chips and a crack in the paint by the emblem. The paint around the passenger side headlamp motor is messed up from the previous owner.

Everything on this car works great. The a/c, headlamp motors, hatch pull down motor, power windows, locks, EVERYTHING. I have personally never come across another nicer GTA on the street, or a thirdgen in general in which EVERYTHING is functional like factory.

I am asking $8,000 for it

Give me a call at 262-613-6068, and leave me a message if I don't answer. Thanks

Oh, and included with the car will be a set of edlebrock shorty headers with Y pipe and air tubes, stock radio, an extra complete digital dash, and a bra for the front end.

BigBadGTA, NIce photos,. quick question ..the one where you show the stock radio sitting on the rear deck there appears to be a gap between your rear split seats.
Is that stock? my rear split 'touch' each other and have no gap.

the split seats came in the notchbacks. think the TTA's too. it was originally a notch.

sorry I haven't responded, I have been on vacation guys. But yes, the car was a factory notchback untill the notch cracked and was going to cost $1500 to repair. I chose to go the glass hatch and hawks fiberglass spoiler route instead. As for the car I am willing to negotiate price, make me an offer!

Well you should give me a call! :D I would love to see it go to somebody on this forum who appreciates these cars for what they are and who I know will take good care of it. (I would like to see pictures and updates on the car too lmao) I know it would make it anywhere in the country no problem in A/C comfort..
