Location (City/State)?

Well I've "X'ed" this one off my list. When someone posts something is for sale and a simple question asked (location - city/state) goes unanswered in over a period of a few days, that pretty much shows how doing business with that seller will be like, non-responsive.

this is also his first post to the forum and may have been pushing it in several others as well as local. I know I dont sign on every 2-3 days..sometimes once a week. I was a slow sell and not anxious but when I sold and I did not delay the buyer.

When someone posts something for sale, they should at least do so during a time when they are going to be active on the forum that it's being advertised/posted on. Isn't that just common sense, or are there sellers out there who say they'll post something for sale and check on it in a month?

I posted my question 4 days back. Still......nothing. Maybe in your book that acceptable.

Being a Manager my job and my family was more important than selling the GTA. Life happens. I kept trying to get a hold of seller in MN that had the GTA I wanted (89 5.7 ttop black on gold with black crosslaces and 40K) . I even had his email and had emailed with him before but when I was ready to buy there was no reply. He was military and was away when I was ready and I had found my 5-speed while I was waiting. He was apologetic and lost the sale and I was a little sad but got the better deal. his lic plate was 1badgta.. wonder where I got my nick...?

Captain1 - nice GTA man. more pics would be great even for those of us not buying!

I purchased an engine from a guy in NJ over 400 hp it had 30 lb injectors SLP runners msd ignition, a lingerfelter 58mm throttle body, all ported. I removed and sold everything on engine to strip it down for this GTA if not sold. Engine is spotless and only has 10,000 since rebuild.

No worries. Thanks for the reply and information. Yeah, East Coast and not running. Sorry but I'm out. Was hoping that worst case scenario it would be somewhere in the state I'm in. Sorry.

Exactly how long does it take to just check and respond to e-mail or forum messages?
