4th gen seats in 3rd gen

Will the 4th gen seats fit a 3rd gen without great difficulty? Do they bolt right in? My medium gray leather driver's seat is in poor shape and I am debating replacing both front seats vs. re-upholstering them. I have not been able to locate a kit to re-cover these - does anyone know if they are available? Thanks for any help.

i've got 4th gen camaro seats in mine put in by a previous owner and look like they just bolt straight in. would like to get an original interior for mine though

If I'm not mistaken, the main differences are in seat trim style and headrest design. The basic seat itself is pretty much the same.

Bolt in yes, although they are a little wider in the seat bolsters and the right side rubs on the console some. I have 97 TA seats in mine now and have also tried 97 camaro seats, they are not as wide but not as bolstered either. Hope that helps.
