Anyone know the paint code for flame red Metallic?

I am in the need to get touch up paint, and need paint code..i do not have RPO label anymore it got lost somewhere in the garage..need to fnd it soon!! Does anyone have any idea what the code would be for Metallic flame red? thanks guys and gals..

74 :)Be careful here. I have a late year (August)1988 and my RPO codes show 1989 paint codes. As they are listed on my sticker they are upper and lower 9535 and 662. Not sure what the 662 is, but the 9535 is a 1989 flame red. Just some FYI since you are trying to get a match.

My SPID was gone...I had no way to know, so we had to call a local stealership to find out. Mine is a Jan/Feb '88, so for mine, it's right.

I told the guys at oreilly to mix me some paint into a spray can and their computer ran 74u as flame red for 89, but i will test the paint b4 applying to make sure its right..

There will almost always be slight color varances, due to the dyes used.
I know for the 1989 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am, there were like 5 different shades.
New paint will always be shinny and bright, against the old paint.
You may have to claybar/polish the whole car afterwards. ;)

9535 is the correct code for flame red metallic

someone mentioned about 662...that's just the interior trim code
