Does anybody know how to remove the T-Shape Automatic Tranny Handle/Knob?????

I believe there is a screw on the underside of the handle. Undo that and then it should come off.

Actually there is a u-shaped pin on the frt side of the handle, facing the dash, pull it out and it comes right off. hth

Oh they will, but sometimes it takes some persuasion to go in ;)

Use a small screw driver to pry it out towards the dash, and to reinstall I use a pair of needle nose pliers squeeze in and push the pin back in place.

I have my pin, but I have also not tried very hard to put it back because my shifter handle needs recovering.

Can u put a B&M Shift handle wit button for the Auto 700R4????

Yes, you can, but I promise you this. You will be taking it right back out. I have not heard of anyone keeping them on their car for very long...

Do u know why people take them off after awhile???? They dont really go wit my interior wit its polished look but I like the feel of the handle!! Or I was thinkin of a NOS T-Shape handle that went on the 83 Firebirds which fit our GTAs!!!

not a big fan of the b&m handle, had one on my stang and hated it to the day i sold it. But u might like it..

Mainly because they hang up and get stuck between gears.. :eek:
