hey i was wondering if someone on this site would be willing to port my plenum and intake off of my 88 5.7 gta..... how much will you charge..... thanks...

TPiS sels them on an exchange, but I am not sure how much.hth

I bought a replacement plenum already ported to match their billet TB by Lingenfelter Performance Engineering.... so as not to damage the car's original piece. I'm sure the cost is a lot more now than it was back then.... if they even sell them anymore. But it'd be worth a look-see to find out.

well maybe i will just keep my stock intake and plenum... if its that much trouble to port them then i guess i will just keep them unported....

Yeah, I wouldnt port the factory one. Instead you should look at gettin say a used Edelbrock, Accel, or TpiS one, they "should" be considerably cheaper. The new ones are "VERY" $$$$$. :eek:

$675 for a package from edelbrock, runners and intake manifold.
Only downside to the edelbrock intake manifold is that you need to look at a new mount location for the ignition coil.
