Annual CCFBG Show and Shine

Well today is the morning of the biggest firebird and camaro show in all of Ontario.

My club is expecting a little over 125 f-bodies today at the parking lot at the canadian tire on the 427 and Queensway.

It'll be my 4 show with the club and 2nd time i've shown a car there.
I think im going to be the only notchback there out of the whole lot of em. We'll see what kind of reaction I get from it.

Once I get back from the show I'll post a link to all the pictures of the show for everyone to see. And then I start my plan for stripping the car and prepping for low cost paint job.

Wow, what a long day...

Our club just upped the ante at 139 cars turned out today.

A lot of very nice 1st-4th gen f-bodies of all conditions.

I'm just in the process of uploading pictures and will have them posted later tonite.

However, nobody there has ever seen a notchback in person except for about 3 or 4 people. There was a lot of interest in it because it's so different and it's factory. Everyone commented on the super clean interior of my car and gave me a thumbs up for making the effort to bring it out today. Engine doesn't run so I dropped it on a Uhaul trailer and dragged it down with my truck.

Overall, the day was absolutely gorgeous, not a cloud in sight but sooo very hot.

I won a nice catback system from one of the door prize draws, very nice :) Guy beside me won a dyno tune and couple other nice prizes went out, like $100 in sunoco gas, $100 gift cert towards covered towing with one of our sponsors, Magnaflow mufflers, all sorts of great stuff.

Anyhow, going to finish working on the uploads...

Glad ya had a good turn out. We had somethin down south here that we aint seen in hmmm about 6+ weeks. RAIN!! Whew!! Glad to see it. I hope it put out those fires down in S Ga and N Fla.

Oh and but anywho cant wait to see the pics.

Cool pics!! I especially like the 2 late model GTA's like mine. I also noticed that the club is strong in 3rd gens. Especially for it to be a Fbody club. Looks like it was a good turn out as well.

Yeah we're 3rd and 4th heavy. Theres a few members that have quite a few f-bodies. Those are the older guys with 60-70s f-bodies.

One guy picked up a 69 pace car from saskatchewan couple months ago that is almost mint.

Theres one guy in the club that has 8 f-bodies from 67-02.

Theres a few 2nd gens, couple 1st gens, and tons of 3rds :)

A lot of our prizes were geared around 3rd gens because of the number.

The club is off to the Camaro Nationals next weekend and they're pullin for the club award again this year. They got it last year with 20 odd cars, they're hoping for 30-40 this year :)
