Your local automotive upholstery shop. There are some kits you can order online, if you wanna pull the existing covers off, and put premade ones on. Most are very fine quality.

The ones that Hawk's Third gen sells are excellent quality covers. That's where I'll be getting mine from.

I've got cloth seats in my GTA. Anyone know off hand if I'd be able to get the leather recovering kit and use them on my seats? Or is there a difference in how they're put together that would prevent that?
Also, anyone know if the foam inserts are reproduced? The door facing sides of both front seats in my car are broken down from being slid across a lot, and it'd be nice to get them filled out again with some fresh foam pads.

Yes you should be able to. BUT, what I would do, if it were me is take them to a local upholstery shop and have them covered. In the end you can get them done the way you want AND they can repair the seat and insert new foam if needed.
thanks guys for all your input.

bout to get mine done. What is a reasonable price quote to restore beechwood leather back to factory condition (or very close:) ? The driver seat has a large tear across the main seat panel with minimal foam damage. The flared side (near left arm) is also badly worn to the point that the foam is exposed (quite grotesque). The leather all about the driver seat looks cracked and worn, yet nice, in an odd way. I just assume all the leather needs to be replaced though for what I want. The passenger seat has a tear in the main seat panel too but overall looks ok. Also, the door panels need fixing. The weather stripping on both is coming apart from the panel on each end (some plastic rivets popped off and are gone). Also, the upholstery spike strip is coming off the panel and allowing the leather materials to pull away (making a split between the 2 leather materials). I think the leather needs to be pulled and fastened with the spike strip. Also, I'd like to get the carpet section replaced on each door panel. Any idea how much I should expect to pay a shop to do this work? BTW: rear seats are fine.
This pic isn't the best...

The leather AQ9 seat covers are available from JAX in Wisconsin. They specialize in Buick Turbo Coupes and the TTA. Link to their site:

They are shut down until approximately June '10 due to relocating. I inquired this winter and was quoted $900.00 for front leather only. They will sew on your side bolsters if you ship them. They can also duplicate the pattern in vinyl and are confident they can match my rear seats. They claim the vinyl is more durable and looks as good or better than leather at about $400.00 less than leather. I never made an order because of their shut down, but am postponing my interior rehab to next winter. I would guess when they resume production there may be delays due to back orders.

Thanks for the link. A local upholstry shop said he can repair each seat for around 200. I told him the gash in my leather was big too. I'll see what he can do when I go there tomorrow. Id hate to shell out a G if a shop can make it look good for nearly 1/2 the price. Nevertheless, good to have a Quality backup option.
