hey, does anyone know where i can send my steering wheel out to have it re-wraped? i remeber reading about it a while back, but now that i need it done, i cant find the thread.

Hmmm you might wanna check with your local upholsery shop. No matte rhwere you get it done, as I undestand it it is a little $$$, sorry.hth.

You can get it rewrapped by Car Motorsports by I believe it is just the outer ring. The price is about $250: http://www.carmotorsports.com/
I got mine done by American Stitches in "BMW black leather" with padding and to rewrap the whole wheel it costs about $400. Most of it is labor since the leather is really not that expensive. If it's a resto job then it is worth it. I have no regrets spending the extra money.

I had read somewhere about American Stitches doing the steering wheels for Car Motorsports, but that was a while back so I don't if they are still doing it for them.
