I just picked up some parts for my car from eBay. :D Nothing really special. One was a part that I need and the others are just things I wanted for my car. Here's the cool stuff I got...
Spiffy GTA keychain...

Throttle Body Plate...

And the part I needed...the plastic housing for my hatch motor...$20.00

Patrick, love that TB plate.... really nice. I've got that Goodyear ad too in a frame.... the car pictured is an '87 model. I've not seen that style of keychain before... I've got something similar, plus two of the "GTA nose emblem"ones from carmotorsports.com.
Watch out my friend.... that eBay can be addictive. I used to do that a lot until one day I found myself buying for some still unknown reason.... Pontiac dealer pins that were given to like mechanics, salespeople, etc. When it got that bad, I was like... what the HELL????
But there are some great memorabilia scores to be made there, for sure. And I still scan.... I just don't buy as much. :)

I almost put a bid in on a hat pin that I found. It is a pin of the GTA logo and I can't find it anymore. I should have, but it'll be okay. Yeah, wifey says I'm going to turn into a junky if I keep this up. Alot of it is just trying to find stuff my car is missing or adding to what I can put on display with my car when I show it. One of these days I'm gonna freakin' win something when I show her. LOL!
The keychain came from fastcarsrule.com. :D

Thanks. :D I'll get some pictures of it when I get it installed. It should be delivered before I get back from Savannah and I plan on putting in next weekend if it does. :D I actually found these because a couple of guys at the Hideout bought one for their GenIV cars of the Firebird logo. They told me they were on eBay and I've been putting off buying one for a while now. I finally decided to just get it.
They have several different types of TB plates and the GTA one comes in a couple different colors. Here's the link to the eBay store that I got it from. They're $35.00-$41.00 with shipping anywhere in the US. I'm not sure about shipping to Canada. Sorry guys.
Anyway, here's the link...

In regard to that GTA plate that go on the front of plenum, I can not recall is water go through there or just air, but when I rebuild mine, one thing to consider is that when you take original one off, there is a gasket that will break apart because of age of car. I replace that one with gasket from dealership, not sure if this special shaped gasket is available any more. But just want to let you know what you shall expect by removing the original, one. Actually, I am pretty sure that only air goes through that area. Coolant go through the bottom portion of the plenum area. Another thing to be aware of is, there may be some problem with a little rust with the stock bolts that hold that plate on. So perhaps you may want to spray a little WD40 on the bolts before attempt to remove them. And turn them slowly and cautiously not to break them.
That is about all I know in regards to this piece. I remove the one from my plenum and put new gasket and bolts from dealershop, just so it looks new to the smallest details. Yumiko

Isn't that a 2nd gen bird in the key chain?

Yeah...Whoever made it probably doesn't realize that the bird emblem changed with each generation. Oh well. I got it because it says GTA on it. :D I may just keep that one in the package and get one like Frankie got from the website he posted. I like that one better anyway. It looks like the nose emblems and you can get them in the same colors that would go with your car. :D

Thanks for the heads up Yumiko on the gasket. Although I had to buy an entire throttle body gasket kit just to get that one gasket that I needed. Oh well. My old one didn't come off to hard. It was actually really easy after I sprayed a little WD40 on it. I had the plates changed within 20min from start to finish.
Here's what the plate looks like on my car...

Now I just need to do a little more under the hood. Anyone else know of any bling bling parts that I can get? I've seen a master cylinder cover and radiator cap, but I don't know where to get them.
Enjoy. :D
