Hey Guys,
My buddy & I went upto to AMES show this week-end and had a fantastic time. The Pontiacs were AWESOME!! Alot of vendors selling their wares-no signs of F-Body merchants from the Carolinas... Bracket racing was going on all week-end.
The highlight of the evening was the FireHawks, Comp TAs, Trans Ams parade from Norwalk to the lake shore and Cedar Point parking lot. There was aprox. 60 of us being excorted thru the streets-going thru red lights, people honking their horns at us, cheering, some looking puzzled, I was standing up on the front seat of my buddies' 35th Yellow Trans Am thru the T-Top taking digitals of the whole thing. The police wouldn't allow anyone in our procession and never motioned to me about standing up thru the roof taking pics w/o my seat belt. It cost us $20.00 a car and the parade was approx. 25 miles in length, lasting over a hour. The weather was picture perfect and it was the best $20 bucks spent to watch everyones' reaction to us all. Do it again in a heartbeat!!!!!!!!

I had a friend who took his '74 SD455 T/A up there to race, but I haven't gotten a report from him yet. Glad you had a great time!

That would have been an awesome event. I wish I could gather up that many Firebirds in Fayetteville. No one seems to want to play I guess. You have pictures to share? :D
