Hi all :)

Looking at a GTA locally and wanted your opinions...

1988 GTA
Black with black interior
Hardtop car (love that... hate T-Tops)
350
Digital dash (hate that... wish it was analog)
Leather Seats
70,000 miles

paint = very nice, would rate it an 8.5 out of 10
interior = very nice, would rate it an 8.5 out of 10
undercarriage = super clean and rust free, no winters
wheels = excellent
rear spoiler = cracked and warping

Overall the car is very nice. All it needs in order to be exceptional is somebody like me to give it a complete and professional detail, replace the rear spoiler, and a few basic maintanence items.

What would you pay?

-and-

What is it's value on the market?

Thanks

That is a very clean looking GTA that you have there. :) Looks very nice.

Thanks.

Working on the warped & cracked rear spoiler now.

(huge PITA project that shouldn't be an issue, only because GM screwed up)

Think I'm going with a Fiero GT spoiler and late 90's Chevy Yukon LED 3rd brake light.

I refuse to pay $460 shipped for an aftermarket fiberglass rear spoiler.

That's price gouging, taking advantage of people because you know they need it.

I totally agree...a t my previous job I was going to make a mold out of my spoiler, for a fiberglass replica and sell it for a more reasonable price.. but the boss never let me get to it.

many people are willing to pay that much for the original looking spoiler, I know I will when the time comes. I would never put another spoiler/wing on my car. Personally I feel it degrades the car and it'll lower resale value.

nice looking car though, welcome to the board
