whats this 89 gta worth?

I'm buying an 89 red gta from the original owners who are an elderly couple. its 89 red t tops 350 all options. under 50,000 miles. i told the owner 3 grand he said that was a little too much. the wing is faded and cracked and the sides are starting to fade a little bit. whats it worth? what should i offer him?

half sec here. It only has under 50 k on it and you offfered 3k and he said too much? an 89 GTA L98 option (8th character from the left is an'8') that JUST.... needs a paint job ( mmm maybe $1500 for an all out great paint hould be worth I'd say $5 000 or better. The used car guide i looked into says moderate condition $6500 for an 89 and $5200 for an 88 and thats US$ That's just my way of looking at it.... did he really say too much ???

Wow man... if it's too much, Where's he at??? I'll buy the damn thing!!!!! HAHAHAHA

If he says too much, I'd make damn sure that it the correct mileage. My GTA has only 52,000 miles on it and is in pristine condition outside. The paint is factory original and has ZERO fade.

its an elderly couple and it used to sit in the garage now they got a new car and it sits outside. its def correct mileage. i think its liek 47,000. its not faded yet but it looks like it will in a few years. has a little dent on the hood. new inspections, new tires. i said 3 grand cash. he said he wants me to be happy and im going over in 2 weeks and he wants me to go over it and point out things wrong with it and make him an offer. the rear spoiler is cracked too and faded. so i think $2500.00 will be good offer????? :rockon: :Owned:

Thats a steal man... those w ings ALL crack and fade... I had mine painted to fix the fade, but now its cracking :( Go for it man... 3k is not too much, but if he REALLY wants to let it go for less... I wouldn't argue ;)

yeah im excited about it. i know its a steal hehe. reason for not selling it to me right then and there is because they just picked up a visititor who was staying with them for a week. ive been asking them for 3 yrs about the car.
