I have not posted here in 3 years! Shame on me.....anyway
After driving my GTA with the 383 for 3 years and having the car for 5 years all together I sold it to my brother after it eat its 7th tranny. 2 months ago i picked up a 94 Z28, m6 with a few bolt on parts. I don't care for 4th gens now that i own one. I also don't care for the 6 speed. My Z is pretty clean 110k on it with some paint needed from the front hitting a snow bank.
I have been talking to a guy online for 2 years now. He picked up a 87 GTA 350 car 2 years ago and have had some mods done to it. He wants a 4th gen 6 speed car so I think i may trade him. Here is a list of his mods.
TES shorties, hooker cat back, LT1 intake, CAI, custom tune, BMR adj pan hard bar, eibach sportline springs, 3k stall. He wants to keep his cam witch is fine with me. I think its to big and i have a LT4 hotcam sitting around doing nothing. From what i can tell the car is pretty clean and only has 76k miles on it. It needs painted but i can paint cars and have a booth i can use for free so once again thats not really a big deal.
The factory GTA options are 350, loaded, 9 bolt with 3.27s, 4 wheel disk, cloth seats, gold rims. I love the white and gold look also.
So what do you GTA guys think? Everyday i see my old GTA i kick myself for selling it to my brother. Most ppl i tell this to think i'm stupid for wanting another 3rd gen. Frankly i think my old GTA was better all the way around. (with the 383 hehe)
