Here are some pictures I took of the GTA in the daylight. Does the polished plenum and runners a huge justice. Got the spoiler all painted too.

Looking fantastic there, Nathan.... you've done a fine job. Thanks for the updated pics.
As for the WS6 emblem.... I'd never say a fellow owner's car looked dumb, but it looks like it sticks out a bit to me. Personally, I'd like it a lot better if it matched the car more.

It is one of the cleanest black GTA's I have seen.
But, I agree with Frankie, the WS6 emblem does stick out.

Hmmm... thanx for the compliments on the Engine bay.. its not that good to me... but I am way too picky.. LOL
As for the WS6 emblem... I can see your point.. but it would stick out just as much on the new WS6's right? I felt the car needed more of an identification of its WS6 package. A lot of people think WS6 is just for the new Trans AM's...
Thanx for the input though... I will see what others say, and make a collective judgement... but I think I will keep it on, cause it looks nice to me :D
Oh.. and for the record... I think Frankie's engine bay in the red GTA is MUCH MUCH better than mine.... Maybe when I do the engine build up ina couple years.. I will give the bay a fresh coat of base/clear paint. Only thing I don't like about that is the fact I have to find a way to move the brake and fuel lines out of there so they won't get painted.. cause they are all original and look mint. Unless I mask from the frame rails down and just spray the upper portion of the engine bay? hmmm.. I am way too ahead of myself... LOL..

Hello Nathan. Your car looking very good like always. Awesome! About that extra emblem on the back bumper, well, I don't know. You know how I am so much into stock and factory stuff. I won't put that one on my GTA but then again, to each his/her own, right. But with a car as clean as yours, if someone focusing on that emblem only then they are just looking for something to be wrong because they are envious. But to me, your car is awesome and that emblem is not a problem to me. Yumiko

Hello Nathan,
I wanted to show you photo of my GTA engine. What do you think of my 100% stock engine? Boring maybe but I'm happy with it. Just thinking you like to see. Hope you like. Yumiko

Hey Nathan, great pics!!! I'm still working on getting my car to the condition that your car is in right now. It's already in great shape but I'm a perfectionist as well. Keep up the good work. As for the emblem, it sticks out, yeah, but I like it. I got one for my car as well and it's going in the same place as the fourth gen cars, right uner the right taillamp assembly. Once again, great job!! I hope this TPI looks just as good when I'm done polishing it.
Yumiko, that is one clean engine!! Was that pic taken recently? It still looks new considering it has 180,000 miles on it. Great job on your car too.

Hey Yumiko... you are da bomb!!! If the owner looks just as sexy as that engine bay.. look out guys!!! :)
Paul... Can't wait to see how your engine turns out. How are you going to fit the WS6 emblem under the tail light? Is there room on the 90's GTA?

Hello guys,
No....I don't think that I a bomb! Thankyou if you thinking so though. By the way Fred, this photo was taken last summer in July before transmissions break down. Car and engine have 248K on it in that shot. I put additonal 2K on it between that photo and transmissions breakdown in ending of October 2001. My secret.....I clean engine compartment and entire under car every month for few hours. I have friend and this family owning gas station. They are my friends and so they let me use the gas station service bays anytime. Not only engine bay clean, entire underside car clean the same. My cleaner I use is 409. This one take off oils no problem. Just to letting you know, this summer when I have engine and transmissions put it back in car, I will submit photo shots to Mr. Frankie for "this month GTA." You will see what I am looking like then, but only if I making it on month GTA. Yumiko

Yumiko,
248K????? WOW!!!! I hope I can keep my car in such great shape to reach that... Though the L98 in my GTA in its original configuration may not have to as I am now in the stage of gathering parts for a 383!!! And if you guys think I wasn't crazy enough, It'll be a supercharged setup. I think I'll make it to about 4k miles before something blows up... :BG: But we won't know till 2 years from now when I project that this build-up will become realty. Thanks for the advice on the 409... I'm definitely gonna do that now... Though I have to do things the "ghetto" way and use ramps to get under my car in my apartment building garage... I really need a lift.
Nathan, those runners are really stubborn to polish. I pretty much got the plenum and TB though. If you thought the OEM TPI was hard to polish, try polishing a Superram plenum/intake setup. I started on that so it'll be nice and ready when it goes in. It'll make you want to just take out the chainsaw and hack it to pieces.

Hey Nathan,
Are the plenum and runners Arizona Speed & Marine or did you polished them yourself.
BTW, it all looks pretty good but the WS6 did catch my attention right away. Not in a bad way, it's just that they are not original and by you being so picky (lol), it is just odd.
Keep up the good work.

Polished the plenum and runners myself (with a little help with removing dents in the runners). Funny you mention Arizona Speed & Marine, I want to get their runners and base when I do my engine build in a couple years.
Yeah.. the WS6 badge will definately not go unseen.. LOL.. But I felt the car needed a little more notification that it had WS6, a lot of non-fbody finatics, think WS6 is only on the 4th gen Ram Air cars.. and I think it looks nice there.. I think if GM put a badge on there, it would be in that area :)
Oh... yumiko... I said you're the bomb, because you keep your car soooo clean... I wanted to clean the undercarriage of my car... but I can not find a hoist to do it on

Nathan,
Last year at the race track, I saw a 2001 WS6 Trans Am. It was black and I think his emblem was black. If you could find one like that it would go great with your paint.
