old pontiac muscle

i know this isn't what these boards are about, but did you guys hear that in 2004 Pontiac is gonna make a new GTO? hopefully it won't be a front wheel drive V6 like everything else in their lineup, or worse (like the Vibe or Aztek).

so, if they're bringing back old muscle like the GTO, is there a chance they'll bring back the T/A? my fingers are crossed...........

Right now the planned GTO is an australian car called the monero. They will do interior changes and the usual sheet metal changes so it has the pontiac style. I haven't seen anything yet on how it is supposed to look as the GTO. They are working on adapting the car to meet federal regs. Its still cool that there will be a rear drive v-8 car still around. The downside is that they are only expecting around 25000 cars a year. Limited production means $$$.
