This is soooooooo kewl I emailed GM asking for a build sheet on my new 82 camaro pace car & they offered to ship us this instead because they dont keep the build sheets.
All you need to do is email them or call them with is your VIN & mailing address.
I did this with my Firebird via pointiac history & I was Charged $30 for the information I got.
This is what they come with & how you get your hands on these babys.
1) General information about a model's serial numbers and identification, interior and exterior standard equipment, as well as, upgrade options.
2) Chassis information - including information about the front and rear suspensions, steering, driveline, wheels and tires.
3) Dimensions and Weights - including interior and exterior dimensions, luggage/cargo space, and vehicle weights.
4) Body - including information about body construction and the exterior paint colors and processes.
5) Power trains - this section includes information about the model's power train components, combinations and systems.
